Kevin Von Erich

Kevin Von Erich

Kevin Von Erich, the last surviving son of the legendary Von Erich wrestling family:

Kevin was famous for wrestling barefoot, which made him stand out in the ring. This wasn’t a gimmick—it started because he once forgot his boots, and he just kept going without them ever since.

Kevin is the last living son of Fritz Von Erich. All of his brothers—David, Kerry, Mike, Chris, and Jack Jr.—have tragically passed away, many under heartbreaking circumstances that contributed to the family’s reputation for misfortune.

Kevin was a top star in World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) during the 1980s, often teaming with his brothers and feuding with rivals like The Fabulous Freebirds, which became one of the most iconic feuds in wrestling history.

Before wrestling, Kevin was a talented athlete in high school and college, playing football and running track at North Texas State University. Injuries ended his football career, leading him to follow the family path into wrestling.

After leaving wrestling, Kevin moved to Kauai, Hawaii, to live a quieter life with his family. He’s known for having found peace there after years of personal loss and the pressures of fame.
